    DIY glove box cigar lighter

$40 or NLA for that fancy cigar lighter adapter for the glove box flashlight socket?

    Nope.

How about $10 and 10 minutes of your time?

just take a look at the plug, you'll find that it's conveniently labeled for us.

So go to your favorite store, buy yourself a cigar lighter extension. I got a coiled one by Bell.

Next, snip off the male plug, strip off the wires and crimp on some round, female connectors.

Then the hard part: plug it in. red to the +, black to the -

All that's left is to plug something into it, make sure doesnt blow any fuses, and enjoy your hard work.

    Good luck!
