cd33 dimming controls

Just got a cd33 receiver and the screen is pretty dimm. I played around with it for 10min and still couldnt figure out the dimming controls. anyone?

To understand where the FMJ CD33T is coming from, you need to know about its immediate predecessor, the FMJ CD23, and before that the Alpha 9, a player that was introduced about five years ago, which was before the entire Arcam product range received a cosmetic facelift and was reinvented as FMJ and DiVA range components.

update on the dim backlight situation. Turns out its a common issues. Searched online and turns out the solders go bad. Posted a writeup on the fix on here.
