Power mirrors

My mirrors used to not work at all, but after fiddling with the switch for good 15 minutes I can move them both left, right, and down. I cant move either up, and they all make a horrible grinding noise when they do move. Bad motors or just shit inside the housings?

Give it a try keeping the doors open and fiddling with the wires going through the door to the chassis. The connectors there often build up corrosion.
