Finally got these installed, am really happy with the sound all around. Paired with a nice head unit and amp it sounds great. The crossover fits nicely in the area above the speaker. thanks again.

Nice! Glad to hear it, and no worries, those are water PROOF, we guarantee them to 10 meters, in fact. We do not recommend testing them in car, however...

We ran them completely out of all of the values of caps and coils we order, and that is after they have raised their stock levels...hopefully they can buck up their supply system a wee bit.

There is a Vifa that would work, let me see if I can find details. it's a minature "revelator" type so I have concerns about the diaphragm poking out.

Presumably, with a little care, one could space it back a little bit. I'll await your further thoughts on it. :)

Just heard some "Audiophile" recordings in ClavinZeros car.

For those that are into audio history, this was Amanda McBroom on Sheffield Labs CD.

I have never heard any E30 sound anywhere near as good when using the stock positions.

Staging was wide and deep, clarity was amazing, midbass was clean and artculate, all of everything everywhere was just phenominal.

if you have them and haven't installed them yet, please do so. You need to hear these and post up on our facebook page, post here, whatever. Help us spread the word!
