Where do these wires plug in to??

First things first, I'm new here so I'll start with a little introduction.

    My name is Joe
    I'm 23
I live in cedar falls, Iowa
and I'm currently working as a tattoo apprentice.

my newest project/daily driver is an 87' 325e sedan 5 speed with about 160k miles, which i picked up about two weeks ago on a trade.
This is my first BMW and it needs a little love here and there but all in all not a bad car.

these are just two quick pics i snapped quick late last night. its pretty dirty right now, ill try and get it cleaned up and get a few more pictures a little later today.

Anyways! on to the the issue im having!
my turn signals aren't working, i replaced the relay and they still didnt work.
last night i replaced the turn signal switch (old one was shot and would just fall into the left signal position when driving) i replaced it with one off of an 85 325e. i dont know if maybe the 85 part isnt compatible with my 87 or what so i decided to make sure that it didnt have any loose or breaks in any of my wiring and i discover i have three connectors not plugged into anything and i think ive found where they go i just dont know what spots they plug into

here are the three connectors, one white 1 prong male, bottom left is 4 prong female, and top right is two prong female.

and here is where they appear to plug in to but where is my question.
i dont wanna just go plugging them into random spot and possibly end up
blowing something of frying some stuff, electrical isnt exactly my strong suit.
if someone could help me out with where these might go i'd really appreciate it!

Welcome, I am not sure of the wires you have loose but not all the wires under the dash are used, depends on options and model. Here is the wiring diagram.

The two flat connectors that have 3 or 4 pins/wires in the first picture are likely for your door gong/chime that clips into the knee bolster below your steering wheel. Not sure what the other wire in the first pic is for.

The connector in the other pic is the "c302" connector which you can find more info about in the link to the wiring diagrams in the post above.

Definitely consult the wiring diagrams for your specific model to be sure though.

Thanks for the help, after looking over everything I haven't found a spot for any of the three connector which leads me to believe they just may not be used with my model. I did however figure out why my turn signals and weren't working. Ended up having a few broken wires just past the harness on the steering column. Got them fixed and my signals work great now!
