Well James C told me to post it so I may as well.
After calling around yesterday I finally got ahold of a Pioneer Premier DEH-P880PRS. I got it at Magnolia Hi-Fi in Tacoma. It was the first one they got in, I also got the second gen iPod adapter too. Still holding out on Sirius though as no local places have the SIR-PNR2 yet :-/
Anyways I finally got it installed today. I'm upgrading from my Alpine CDA-9855 and I have to say it sounds slightly better. The front auxiliary input is nice though having to keep the face plate opened is annoying.
The new ipod adapter is pretty quick, its no full speed but it is a helluva a lot faster than the Alpine KCA-420i. I love the multi-control, it takes a second to get used to but pretty easy to figure out and not as distracting as Glidetouch. I love it so far the white lighting and OEL display is nice. I don't think you can upload new background videos to it though.
My old CDA-9855 is going into JC's 4runner.
