Do I need to rewire for aftermarket tweeters?

I know this question has probably been addressed in the forum but I couldnt find a plain and simple answer to my question when I looked. My tweeters are super fuzzy and I assume thats just because they themselves are crappy so I want to get aftermarket tweeters, but my question is are aftermarket tweeters just plug and play or do you have to rewire them no matter what?
    Thanks guys!

Only way is to rewire them up to the old wires running to the BMW tweeters. Should just be a negative and positive wire that you will have to splice your aftermarket tweeters too.

I'm not familiar with where the crossover is on the premium sound tweeters, but if it's at the tweeter you will need to make sure you add a capacitor inline with your new tweeter to keep the bass out.
