    Help!! Installing front premium sound

Hey guys, I've seen a few threads on this but still stuck.

Upgrading my 91 from stock to premium sound.
Have premium speakers, and already installed the tweeter pods (which plugged into factory wires)

My problem: connecting my tweeters to the premium speakers.

I've identified that the green/gray wire plugs go to the built-in crossovers.
Plugged them in, still no luck.

What am I missing??? I can't find where the yellow/gray wire is on the drivers side, but found it on the passenger side. It has a blue connector plug. But where does that plug into the new premium speakers??

So confused.. And already broke the metal wire on the pass side cross over and need to find a lil soldering iron ASAP haha

Please help me! I'm stuck and need to pack up and move home this weekend! :(

    Thank you r3v :)

The premium speaker should have a little male connector close by the + and - on the speaker. I think the driver side have a different color code wire. If it wasn't so hot out, I could pop my cover off and see what color wire is on my driver side.
Bought parts from me before? leave your feedback here

The confusion here is due to the Premium mid having only 3 connections.

How it works is simple: 2 of those connections are typical negative and positive input (from the deck or amp) and the other wire is the positive output to the tweeter.

The tweeters negative is further down the harness, hiding under the carpet.

If you have a Premium sound car, it is connected to the speaker negative. If you have a non-PS car, it is taped to the harness. Look for a blue connector with gray/yellow wire.

Find a good way to connect it to the speaker negative and your tweeter will work again.

Found the grey/yellow wire with female blue connector taped down under the carpet just now!!

Do I now connect that to the male blue connector attached to the 2 red/yellows which is a male? That ones on the same loom as the speaker wires..

                  Bah, so confused :(

touching the blue connectors (now that i've found em) on the negative (?) terminal on the cross over doesn't do anything for me.. :(

I had to jerry rig the fark out of it, but done.
Used alligator clips from the blue connector plugs to the negative terminal on the speakers, because #college #broke

Everything was pretty tidy sans the alligator clip/test wire on the passenger side.

On the drivers side, the fragile little wire coming off the resistor broke. I tried soldering it but made a pathetic mess.

So I ended up using another test wire and by passing the parallel on that one, and it all works.

Thank you Luke & Bernz for all of the 1 on 1 help :D
