Ignition won't shut off when key is off

Hey everyone, my E30s ignition won't shut off when my key is off. The radio, windshield wipers, and turn signals still work when the key is out. I unplugged the ignition switch and everything was still on. What could be going wrong?

Check the back of the igniton switch, the cup part sometimes wears out and needs to be replaced.

I checked and it all seemed good. I found out when I turned on my emergency flashers that everything shut off.

If disconnecting the ignition switch had no affect, there is a wiring problem that is feeding power into the Accessory circuit , Hot in Run and Start circuit, or both. The most common cause is improperly installed aftermarket electronics.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

There was an aftermarket head unit installed by the previous owner and he did an awful job of wiring it. Could that be the issue?

That's probably is it, constant 12v is, for some stupid reason, connected to switched 12v. I wanna see pics!
