    Power Issue to Electronics

So I got in my car yesterday and my headunit won't turn on and neither does my dome lights (trunk and interior). I haven't found anything else yet that isn't turning on, but nonetheless both of these started at the same time, which makes me think they're connected.

Is there any specific place where both of these draw power from? Are their grounds in a similar place? Are they bundled in the same loom somewhere?

Story: Everything worked on Monday. I pulled back the engine harness and firewall cover to seal my heater box (water was coming in). Then I installed my euro plate filler, which meant I was hitting the central locking wires, but I feel like there is no connection between the two. Then finally I removed my passenger comfort seat. I currently don't have my carpet installed, so I can easily access just about all of the wiring.

    Thanks!

They are both on different fuses, but both fuses are fine.

did you test to see if there was power at the fuse box for those specific fuses? if yes and its all good there, try to test the wires at junctions between the fuse box and item to narrow down where in the circuit it is loosing power. might have just loosened a connector somewhere so it looks plugged in but not enough to make the connection. hope this all makes sense.

if there is no power at the fuse box on those fuses then check to see if there is another fuse-able link between the fuse box and battery. check to see if there is one and if its good.
