    aux fan resistor

I'm retarded when it comes to wiring (somehow I managed to redo my headunit tho)....anyways, how do I wire a new resistor for a new aux fan. I have whats pictured below, the old resistor was cut from the 'harness' and I bought a brand new one along with a new fan. The fan has a blue and a black wire coming out of it to that plug end (I'm assuming that gets cut out?)

The resistor tees into the fan blue wire, now the blue goes to red and resistor wire goes to black and that leaves fan black wire to brown.

Chassis ground will go to one of the fan wires, the other wire will go straight to the high speed relay and to the resistor and then to the low speed relay. So two things will be hooked to one wire.
