    audio q's:amp, wiring...

So i got the new alpine 9856 deck the other day and i'm going to install it this weekend.
i plan i doing all my audio this summer. i don't plan on doing anything big.
but my plan is alpine speakers and tweeters to replace stock ones and a small alpine amp.
    no for the questions:
    1. would i be able to swap out the stock amp for the alpine and keep the same wiring even though its not recommended?

    2. how difficult is it to wire up all the speakers and amp to the deck and so on? like would i need to tear out the interior to do so? weekend job?

3.since i'm not looking for anything intense, so i was thinking type-s speakers in the rear but what about the fronts since the tweeter is separate? would i be able to run type-s' there too or would it be better to get a (non-coaxial (forgot what it's called)) and lose my mind on how to control and deal with the crossovers.

    4. last but not least, what guage wire would be good for a setup like this? the biggest amp i would get would be 450w or so just incase i decide to get a small 10" or even 8" sub.

as you can see i'm not too good with audio lingo and what is good with what.
but i do plan on doing the wiring and install myself with some help from a few friends who have done it before.

    thanks.

before u spend ur money on extra speakers, ill suggest wiring the stock speakers first with a cap between the tweaters. and yes it can be done on a weekday. it took me about 4hours for wiring the entire car.

Ya i still have the stock premium speakers in my car and they sound pretty good hooked upto an amp, you should try those out first before you go out and buy stuff.

I re-used the stock wiring from the truck to each speaker and hooked those upto the amp. You still need to run a remote, power, and ground for the amp thou.

I was planning on re-wiring it, but i dont think i'd see much difference.

        Re-Wiring

I rewired my car for new speakers, and it took about 4 hours also, but in my opinion it was well worth it. I knew exactly which wires I was dealing with, and It went straight to where I wanted it. But it does take a little while.
