Need Help!!!! Head Unit
The problem goes on, I have been trying to put in a new Head Unit for the past 3 weeks and I can not figure it out. I have all new speakers rewired, so I know that the speaker wires are correct and all set. The problem comes within the power wires and the ground. I was told earlier to take the ground from the new Head Unit to somewhere new, but I don't know where to do that? is that the right thing to do? Also I was messing around with it last night and I think I blew a fuse becuase now my tailights don't work. So I got really mad at that too.
The wires that are coming out of the car.
2 Browns tied together = Ground
2 Whites tied together = Power Antena
White and a Yellow = Battery (for original deck)
Purple = 12+V
Wires for New Head Unit
Yellow = Battery
Red = 12+V
Blue w/ white stripe = Power Antenna
Orange = Don't know what it does
I thought I had it hooked up right last night but I just blew a fuse and now my taillight don't work so I have no clue what to do and I am here at the Forum.
