need help w/my e30..can anyone help me!

Heres the deal. Fuse 27 is blowing instantly when i try to change it:( and when i try to start the engine nothing happens...doesn't even try to turn over...i have plenty of battery power...headlights and everything still has power but won't turn over....not sure what is making fuse 27 blow. but think that is problem.

In the fuse box...fuse number 27 powers the interior lights, central locking, the radio antenna, and the on board computer.......and as far as the starter clicking....it doesn't......nothing happens at all except i only hear the fuel pump running....

Not sure if it would do anything at all, but check all of the "Without Connection" fuses, and make sure those are all good.

          What caused all this?
Were you putting a stereo in?
Sounds like you might have some wiring touching causing the fuse to burn immediately.

Perhaps an explanation on what you were doing prior is going to allow you to be guided better?

If the car started doing this out of the blue the stock wiring must just have gone bonkers (which is kinda odd) or some residual wires from a crappy install/retrofit are to blame.
