I think my deck might be messed up... As for lately every so often the deck resets itself... is this normal? it worked perfectly for the first 2 months but now once every two weeks it does this...

Check the two power wires connected to the deck. One is memory (battery) and the other is ignition. So maybe you memory batter could be coming loose. This is just something that you could check other wise I am not sure.
