87 with fader oem radio wires cut. Any way to pull uncut wires and plug them in car?

I have an 87 325ic with fader switch. The oem wires have been cut to put an aftermarket radio in. Is there a way to pull, uncut wires from a parts car and plug it into my car, as if the wires were never cut?

How does the end of the wires connect to the car? Is there a harness located somewhere in the dash where the wires that connect to the oem deck is connected to the car, and I would just need to unplug the uncut harness and plug it into my car?

I know someone from this forum, that has an 87 325i with premium sound, stripping his car to make it a race car. He is willing to sell me the harness, he just doesn't know where the other end of the wires, inside the dash, is located and if it is just plugged in a harness somewhere that just needs to be unplugged.

It would be a huge job to do what your suggesting. It has become hard to find an uncut harness because of the age of the car. I'm going to say most would suggest connecting part of a good harness to yours as opposed to putting the entire loom in. I to have thought about doing this, ne or found a good radio harness, and would be to ambitious for me to re-loom the harness.

that '87 should have a completely separate PS harness. If it's complete, is should be very similar to the sedan harness, but the amp is located in a different place on the hardtop.
