CEL while car idles but goes away as soon as car starts moving

Hey guys so I changed out my voltage regulator today since I was noticing some power issues as I recently upgraded my stereo, speakers, sub, etc. Brushes were toast on the regulator but now I throw a CEL while the car idles for about 30 seconds but once the car starts moving it goes away... since it happens repeatedly I'm quite certain this ain't no hiccup in the electrical system...

Have you checked voltage output from the alternator when the car is idling?

Are you getting a battery light? ...or a check engine light?
    Suspension tips here...

could be alot of things. do a stomp test. I have the same symptoms and the stomp test said I have a bad TPS. if the stomp test doesnt give you an answer I would test your TPS too. they have contacts for idle and full throttle and if the idle (or closed) contact is damaged or worn it could through the CEL like you described.
