premium amp install

So I already installed the premium speakers without any issues but I just got the amp and now I'm confused as hell

So everything seems plug and play except do I have to cut into each speakers set of wires and make the speaker wires go directly to the the premium amp?

With my amp I got all the wiring from the amp to radio, I hope that was smart and I don't find the wires already somewhere under the carpet

I figured it out...I was just confused about the speaker wires going through the amp first before they got to the speakers
