I am installing a known working amp in an e30.
As soon as I connect the RCA input leads, the amp goes into "power protect mode"
I figured it might be the signal/remote turn on wire might be frayed causing a short... I run a wire from the positive terminal to the remote terminal on the amp and same thing.... WTF
I run new RCAs with and without the original turn on lead and same thing.. WTF
I tried another AMP, same damn Issue. What gives?
The Headunit is an old school Alpine Deck.
