    Cassette player clicking noise

    Hey,

    My cassette player started making an intermittent clicking noise about every 5 seconds when it's insterted into the tape deck. I use cassette adapter to listen to music off my phone and it cuts out my music and all I will hear is this faint click. Ive tried using a new cassette adapter but no luck. Any ideas? I'd hate to buy an aftermarket Unit as I like the OEM look.

      Most likely the deck has a broken drive belt and since it thinks the tape stopped, it is switching sides

          try using an OEM tape deck cleaner- or new cassette tape to aux. Ive had this problem as well!!
