windows not working while car is running

    Hello R3V,

The 93 vert strikes again with another electrical gremlin. The car won't operate the windows while the engine is running. If the car is shut off, but all the electrical is turned on, then the windows can roll up and down, but not if the motor is running. I tried jumping the breaker switch with a paper clip to see if that may have been the issue, but no luck. The fuses are all ship-shape and have been replaced with new ones just in case.

Has anyone run into something similar to this before? My search results came up with instances where the windows don't work completely, so I'm left a bit stumped. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated, as I'm not an electrical guru by any means

    Thanks,

    Joey

Joey, did you recently do anything with the starter? Sounds like you have the unloaded relay wire on the start wire

I just purchased a 91 325ix, and mine is doing the same thing. Windows fully operational while key is in engaged for battery mode. But they will not work while car is running. I am uncertain about any starter work since I just got it. Sounds like I have the same issue as you so any help would be greatly appreciated.
