    What does SB mean on stock radio?

    SB is illuminated on my stock radio. What does it mean?

          I still dont know what it means but it is supposed to be there. I accidentally pressed a button that said "SB." when I pressed it again, it went away.

              Going out on a limb here but maybe Station Broadcast. Name of radio station, news, traffic report, etc.

                  It means "Skip Blank"

                  When the tape deck has a long uninterrupted silent section, it will fast forward to the beginning of the next song.

                  If you listen to Classical, or record your own tapes, its a handy function to be able to turn on and off.
