Cant insert the CD into the player

    Cant insert the CD into the player

    I just installed a CD player, its an older unit. I hooked it up properly and took my time installing it but it wont take the CD. I try to insert the CD and it wont take it. Anyone have any idea whats up?

    Hit eject, pop the current cd out.

        Plain and simple, it sounds like the CD section is dead. Depending on the brand/model and age, you might want to send it off for repair or just buy a new head unit. What type of head unit is it? It might be a common problem with that model and maybe an easy fix.

          Its an alpine head unit. Its an older model. I was gonna say....its probobly just broken huh?

                Did the seller tell you that it was not working or what? Even at that price, I would probably just let it go and find something else. I am sending you a PM.
