    Radio code help.

Does anyone work at a dealer or have access to get radio codes.

My m3 stock deck died, and I grabbed two others locally but neither has the code. My local dealer is no help......they never have been when it came to finding my original radio code either.

Pm me if you want to keep it quiet.

    Thanks

It used to be they could only get the code from BMW IF you gave them the VIN AND the radio SN, AND it was the original radio for the car AND you can prove you own the car (copy of the registration with your name on it) they may have relaxed those rules by now but with the hoops we have to jump through trying to get parts for grey market cars I wouldn't count on it.

I called for a BMW dealership about a month ago for a radio code. They said I'd have to bring the car in so they can hook it up to the scanner. I went ahead and bought an aftermarket unit.
