Alternative way to get fogs to come on with parking lights??

Having read both FAQs and DIY on the subject involving tapping into the low beam fuse and the fog light fuse, what else can one do to get this to work?

Doing both the procedures we have already only net me the result of headlights on ALL the time even with the switch turned off regardless of position headlights are on.

I'll even indulge in some wiring hacks. what do you guys suggest?

If I had the diagrams for you car, I could tell you how.

On my car, they made the foglights need ground from the headlight circuit (at the switch only when it's pulled all the way out) and from the low beam relay. What I had to do was make the power constant to the input on the relay and then wire in my own relay on the headlight switch to allow that power and ground to go through. It was a pita. If you come up with a diagram, I'll tell you how to do it (the only way I figured out how to do mine was my trusty ETM for my 86 eta).
