Any cost-effective off-the-shelf passive crossover option for e34 speakers?

I have the Luke/GAS Local PCN for my front stage (Dayton tweeters and e34 Premuim front speakers) but I just decided to go with e34 speakers in the rear of my '89 convertible. I hate to sound (be) cheap but I'd like something less costly for the rear portion.

Drivers will be e34 premium tweeters and e34 premium rear speakers.

Is there a cost effective off the shelf crossover that will work? These are rear fill and in a convertible- not looking for studio quality.

Man I recall when radio shack sold cross overs. Not that they were good but they did exist. I have no solid advice, but you could check frequency range, the cross referece that with specs of online retailers to get an idea of range for your drivers. It would require a lot of research, but might be interesting. Not sure if parts express does car audio, as I have never looked, but they are a george graves resource at times if i recall correctly

Nope! Not me. I can't really vouch for "parts express" - some stuff is good - but I only buy name brand stuff from them - like stuff from 3M.

If you're having an issue with a "GAS" product or adding to it - contact them. That's what they are there for.

Not having an issue with their crossovers- I plan to run them in the front of my 325ic. But to pony up for a second set for rear fill was a bit steep, in my mind. I was just looking for a cheap option for the rear fill location.

Did you end up figuring this out by any chance? I'm trying to do it now.

No. I used the GAS fronts and never swapped in the E34 rear speakers. So far the coaxials have been okay.

I need to call Luke about my e36 stereo upgrade- maybe I'll ask what they recommended before they developed their own units.

Paging Luke....I'm sure he'll help you out. He's got stellar customer service....usually. But....EDIT: He's closed up shop.
