Hi R3V, just thought I would drop a couple of pics here. We've been busy developing audio systems in these newer cars. We now make a full E46 system, which is basically a drop-in install. If your speakers are in good shape (OE H/K only) its basically plug and play.
Our "PCN" is a super high quality passive crossover network developed "in car" to work with the OE speakers. If you aren't aware, the OE speakers are of excellent quality, anyone who has heard what our systems do will attest to that. We are entirely comfortable with feeding the stock speakers as much as 400 watts RMS, we have done it with nearly 600 as well, it sounds incredible.
Plus, our subwoofers focus the energy of the subwoofer entirely into the cabin of the car. Our entire focus is based keeping the bass in the cabin, we call it "Cabin Sealed Bass". The goal of our systems is efficiency. We have found that using a smaller, cheaper, lighter woofer in a highly efficient box gives better overall sound quality, plays more than loud enough. Our expectation is 125db@25Hz using a $70 woofer with 300 watts RMS, and that is with an exceptional level of clarity and detail.
Our products are designed and built "in house", by hand, in small batches. We strive to build each product to a high standard, to fit perfectly in each chassis. Our fit and finish is simple but elegant, and you can choose the level of trunk jewelry you prefer. On to the pictures!

Here's with the cover off:

The spare tire can be easily accessed with a little floor mod:

Here is a test fit, protective film still on the window:

From the front:

It's quite shallow, even with the foam gasket under the uphoilstery:

We also do a system for the E46 Vert. That vehicle has its own set of challenges, so we build a pretty wild box for it. Here is a JL 8W7 in our prototype E468:

This thing is going off special pretty soon, it's pretty sexy:

Thanks for looking!
Luke
