I was over zealous while amputating the ratty old aftermarket stereo from my E30. I cut off a red/green wire that was spliced into the wiring harness at two places.
My speedometer light went out and the speedo stopped working. Which is because it's powered by the red/green wire. (Was not fun finding that factoid)
Problem is: Where are the two red/green wires in the harness? I found one end in a bundle coming out of the firewall, left of the steering column. Can't find the other yet.
Any help?
