    used 4 channel amp recommendations?

I'm looking to get a used 4 channel amp to power the door speakers in my truck. I don't care about the latest and greatest or if it has dolphins and flashing blue leds on it. I just want a fairly compact good amp that will fit under the driver's seat. If you have any recommendation on brands or models that I can look for on ebay, let me know. Thanks.

        Well, I can try.

Any idea what features you want? I prefer to have an adjustable high-pass filter to help with clarity on smaller speakers.

What are you running for speakers? Do you plan on adding a sub? What deck is currently in the dash, and do you plan on changing? How much power are you looking for, and why are you upgrading?

I am really happy with the Crossfire that is currently in my van. Excellent power, great clarity, no noise at all.

right now, stock speakers. i'll be replacing them, with what i don't know. 6.5s all the way around.
i will add a sub in the future, but will use a dedicated amp for it.
i currently have an alpine 9856 that i just bought.
i want at least 50w per channel, and i'm upgrading because the stock speakers blow and are very muddy.
          thanks.

well, the high pass will do wonders for those stock speakers. Whatever you get, make sure it has adjustable high pass. Are you gonna run a sub at some point?

I can sell you several different amps...but I have nothing worth a damn used.

Hi, first post here, great site guys. Unfortunately not e30 geek, but have two in the family.

Anyway, Elemental Designs has affordable 4 channel amp that is great quality IMO. Old Rockford Fosgate Power 800.4 is a great amp if you can find it. Not too big either. I just sold one for $200. Plenty of options, just do some research.
