C405 plug

Hey guys,

So, I been working on my central locking system problem. I found a lot of corrosion at the c405 plug and I feel that simply doing the black and red wire fix won't work. I'm thinking about directly wiring the c405. Any one had more experience on this?

Well, since I didn't hear anything back, I first tired the red/black wire fix. Still dead. Then I went ahead and directly wired the plug. I did modify the plug so that at least the boot stayed in place. And boom! Everything came to life. Only down side is if I ever, if I ever, have to remove the door, I'd have to cut it all off.
