Hi i have a REC-43t Keyless Entry Kit installed on my E30 via the trunk lock and was wondering how I could also have the park lights flash when unlocking/locking. The unlocking signal comes out of the #1 and locking comes from #2 output out of the 4 output channels. All outputs produce a .5 amp of ground. I have the diagram for the parking lights circuit under fuse 22 & 23 and somewhat of an idea, but I need help on how I could make the parking lights flash under the same #1 and #2 output channels. I would like to keep the other two channels for attempting to wire in rolling up and down the windows via the keyless entry as well.
Could I use a relay and the power from fuse 22 and 23 along with the .5 amp signal to actuate the lights along with locking, unlocking? Or am I just way over my own head?
