Factory Alarm is waking up the neighbors, and worse: ME!!!

I have the Factory Keyless/Alarm, (I know: KOOOL). Problem is that it goes off literally for no reason whenever it wants...

There appears to be no pattern (such as vibrations, small animals in the area, wind, etc...) that triggers it. The 2AM siren wake up calls are becoming more frequent.
Does anyone know if temperature swings or just heat can set it off (though that would not explain the 2AM cries).

Can the sensitivity be turn down?
    I don't feel like asking a stealer and receiving a second arshole...

Sounds like a good lead (no pun intended).
Would that be a lead on the actual alarm wiring? It could not be battery itself, rigth?

I have the original instruction manual for the factory alarm – the sensitivity can be turned down from the control box.

          Yup.
I was fiddling with the wire leads to the unit, which BTW all looked OK and found the switch on the control box. I left it on "Hi" hoping a bit of the wireing tightening will solve the problem, but it didn't. ...still screams at random.

I will probably just switch it to "low" and see...

Where was the control box in your car? I need to find mine so I can pair the remote and control box.

The inner part of the "ceiling" of the glove box. The part you remove to get to ECU...
