    Convertible Sound System Questions

    Hi Luke (and everyone else)

I'm about to get a new sound system installed in my vert, but I want to make sure I'm sourcing the right stuff. I read the article on the GAS website, and risking sounding like a fool since I'm lost with all of this, I'm going to ask a few questions.

First off, I'm going to order the E30 (2)8" Vert Enclosure and the E30 (2)8" Vert Amp Rack.

Would you recommend this (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...EVO2900.5.html) for an amp, and this (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ence-860W.html) for the 2 subs?

Is this (https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...r/65138375085/) right, 2 tweeters in the front, and 2 more in the back, and just 2 speakers in the front? (https://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E36-32...aker/ES181808/).
Are the e34 speakers I linked the right ones?

Am I missing anything? Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks!

Luke will guide you to a sub $500 budget install featuring his sub box (not a sales pitch, just the most expensive part - MDF and such). Do not buy anything from ESC. It's all crap.

We have a vert install going down this week, in fact!

Here is what we are doing: Alpine CDA9855 deck

Infinity Kappa One and Kappa 4 amps

GAS LPCNs (2 pair) with OE E34 speakers (junkyard finds)

2 Infinity 860W in the GAS vert box, with optional waterproof coating

Ill be posting some pics of this install along with a few other stories soon (S38 3.9l E30 vert too) when we finally get an office set up here at the new shop.

      Luke
