You'll probably laugh at me, but how do make it block out low frequencies, instead of blocking high frequencies?

Wassup guys,
Right now I am getting ready to start building a 3-way crossover! I have my Infinity Reference Components, and Kicker RMB6. Need to get my supplies, but before that need to figure out what I need and how to wire it up. A little more complex than a 2-way.
-Kickers range is from 30-500 Hz
-Reference woofers range is from 55-???? Hz
-Tweeters are from ????-21,000 Hz
Anyone know how to do this. I better getting researching. And need to find a decent 4channel amp. Anyone got one?

I'd have the kickers set at about 2500Hz
I'd buy this amp:
And make the Cross-Over Tri-amplifiable.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

Have you considered getting an AudioControl signal processor? Active Crossovers are much better than passive one, and AudioControl makes the best (well, them and PG). You could adjust all of your channels separately and then run the signal into the amp.
I'd definitley recomend that a/d/s/ 6-channel. Any hi-fi guru on here will tell you the same.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

According to the website, and the box, that is the range for the kickers. That is very odd, but maybe that is just what they want them to play.
Definitely check that amp out. It's a great price, in my opinion.
If I were doing it, I'd want the kickers to play at least 1000Hz, but 500 wouldn't be too bad if they were in the rear deck.Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

How many pre-amp outputs does your CD player have?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.

Preamp Outputs 2 pair
It is the Clarion DXZ535
No dedicated sub output either. But I dont plan on a sub anyways.
What about something like this: http://www.sounddomain.com/sku/COUXM6
This amp any good oh master: http://caraudioforum.com/showthread....hreadid=181550
The a/d/s at the bottom. Not sure if it is for sale still but maybe?

As far as the signal processor is concerned, you're going to want to find one with 6 outputs. Inputs can be either 2 or 4 channels.
I'd stick with either audiocontrol, phoenix gold, or a/d/s/ for the active crossover. They'll give you the best quality (24db/oct crossover slopes).Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.
