I got this E30 about a month ago. The radio needs a code in order to work, I bet everyone knows that by now. Well, I called the dealer and gave them my radio serial number they couldn't find anything. My radio doesn't say Alpine or anything like that. Is there any other way to get that code? I really want to keep the original radio on the car. Thanks in advance.

it's tied to the vin on the car, unless it has been changed.
pull out the radio and you will see a sticker on top. sometimes that will give you more info. like someone wrote the code on it, like my dad does.
but if you arent a stickler for stock, swap out the stereo for a new alpine and call it a day.Much wow
