so i was wondering if the wiring leading to the fuel rail can be replaced independently or if i will need to replace the entire engine harness?

which year? On 88 up models the Fuel injector harness was seperate from the main harness, it's very common for there to be corrosion in the bottom half of the plug which connects the two so I'd check that first.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker

its an 89 325i
i know the plug is corroded. i tried some ghetto rigging with a generic harness plug but coulnt get it to work.
so i need to replace the fuel rail harness half, and the bottom half. i was just wondering if the bottom half of the plug was independent, but sounds like its part of the whole main harness.The bronzit is dead
