When I gor my car it was missing the driver's side window. I tested everything before installing a window and it would go up and down but once I installed the new window it does not go up, I have to help it go up, I hear the motor working but nothing happens. What could this be? Bad regulator or bad motor?

most guys on here kind of hate window and sunroof issues! myself included... sunroof even more than windows.
there's a gear on a window motor that can break, the tracks can be rusted, it can be misaligned, etc. A friend of mine needed a regulator after blowing out 3 motors. You prob. need to take the door panel off and just go one by one, looking at all of these things.Comment
