Random wire splices and relay under steering column?

I pulled the pedal box out of my car today and I accidentally ripped this relay out of the wiring. It definitely wasn't there from the factory. Can't figure out what it does or why it was there. One terminal was spliced into a solid green wire, another into what I think was a yellow wire, and I have a solid black wire disconnected as well - though I don't know if it was for sure connected here. All of those wires definitely seem spliced.

Judging from that it was hooked up to the green output of the ignition, and the gauge of the wires, I would guess it was a "starter kill" relay for an alarm install.

Ahhhh okay that makes sense. The whole thing was really poorly done. Glad I don't have to figure out this wiring. Thanks!
