battery not getting charged

alright so i used a multi meter and the current is goin straight to the radio and is working showing healthy signs but i check to see if the battery is getting current and its not it doesn't get anything
ima change the bulb for the battery on the dash and see if that fixes it............ive read up on the forums and its called a retard bulb......but if you dont think thats the problem please let me know
(alternator is fine......how should i rearrange the battery ground?
