    Headlight circuit not working!!!

on my 88 335, My headlight switch is kinda in "opposite mode". The headlights stay on when the key is out of the ignition, when the light switch is in the off position, but once I turn the switch to the on position, then the headlights go off and everything else goes on!.

Anybody have any ideas? i checked the relays.. Is it a bad ground? or do you think that the switch is bad? i doubt it...

Have you guys had this problem before? Everything else works fine though....

What wire comes from the headlight switch that goes to the relay?... anybody know the color so maybe I can jump it and see if it is indeed the switch?

Sounds like a splice somewhere is drawing power to places it shouldn't be, or its a ground that is REALLY freaking out.

You could try replacing the switch, however from the sound of things I doubt its that, simple as its a mechanical device with a dimmer, nothing more.

            The low beam relay K4:

For pre 88 cars: there is NO 87a pin
For Post 88 cars: there is an 87a pin, but i can't find any wiring diagrams that says where the 87a pin goes to.. is it ground?
