Noob radio questions

Hello all,
I have two stock radios and not very knowledgable on how to test them before I pull out the current working aftermarket cd dash unit. I searched 5 pages of the firum so sorry if it is spelled out elsewhere. Can anyone help?

You need to supply it power and have at least one speaker to test the outputs. Find a wiring diagram here to know what is what:
