    Windows lost power

As I went for a drive the other day I rolled down my window. As I return home my window switches had lost power (the backlighting had disappeared). Where do I even begin to look for the problem?

Search in the general discussion for the "Electrical Troubleshooting" manual download for your specific year. Everyone should have one. It's got the complete wiring diagrams in it and you can trace the proper circuitry,

I'm not sure, is that a real thing? If so, where is it?

Found the breaker switch. It was popped. First e30, had never seen that before. Thanks all.
