Quick question

On my ‘89 I just replaced the light bulbs for the hvac panel, no problem.

For the clock/date/temp there are 2 black light sockets. They worked when I took the center dash apart, don’t work now.

I ordered 2 new black socket light bulbs for it.

Why do parts (pelican) tell me I need a white plastic light bar thing?

The clock and date thing does work, I just lost lighting and I’m confused on which parts I need....

The "white plastic bar thing" is for the 13 button OBC. If you removed 2 black socket's with bulbs, then that is what you need.

Thanks gents. Hopefully my 6 button will light up when I get them. Still kind of a mystery to me why the bulb that was working has stopped working at the same time I took the dash apart. I was so proud to have a functioning clock/temp display and I’m really bummed to possibly have lost it. It does work, just no lights.
