Tool size to release pins for C404/405 connector?

What extraction tool do you use to release the pins on the C404/405 door connector? Are the pins the same size of the ones in the Molex .062 connectors?

I've always used various sized safety pins for contact extraction, or high quality tweezers (Erem 2SA).

The extraction tools are junk, unless you spend a lot of money.

Yes I noticed the one factory tool is very expensive!

All the extractor is is a tube with an ID the same size as the OD of the pin. Get some metal tube from the K&S rack at a hobby shop/hardware store and use that. Buy a few different sizes and use the one that works.

Yes I might try the K&S tubes next!

            I use these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/8PCS-Stainl...s/152835331026

But there are some tools that are made for it. All of them are under $10 and handy to keep in the tool box if you do a bit of harness work.
