OBC LCD display replacement

Hey guys,

When browsing ebay-kleinanzeigen after coming home from work, I noticed there was someone listing a OBC 1 with a new fitted LCD display.
He even lists a picture of the LCD.

I send him a message and he told me the following:
"Sorry, not to be rude but who seeks shall find."
I asked him if he found this locally or international and he told me "on the darkweb"

Any ideas?

My guess, is new old stock. Heat is what causes the bleed, so if he has a stock of unused displays, they will be fine.

I guessed that too. New old stock. But looking at his other sales, he's a dismantler. He's selling used screens as new? That's my guess. Dark web full of e30 OBC screens? Oh that's funny. Maybe Octo part would have them, but not the "DARK WEB"

Unless he also has a line of reproducing coding plugs, their plastic housing and the rom inside, it's all used stuff.
