Just got a 89 325i. I was checking underneath the knee panel and noticed a couple of wires chewed on . One blue and one brown. I reconnected them and taped up some of the damaged area. Anyone know the function of these wires? It's the wires connected by the white clip with the "35" sticker in this image.

Well the ETK will tell you what's what if you trace it to a module. Of the top of my head, I would guess that the wires going to the outside air temp sensor. Brown is grond, and blue is the sensor wire. I know this because I sell a "better then oem" sensor - just full disclosure.Originally posted by Matt-B
