    Si batteries (CR14250SE)

I have an 87 with lithium batteries, measuring 2.9V and appear to be original. Are they worth replacing?

Been awhile since I've driven the car so I can't remember the exact symptoms but IIRC the fuel gauge isn't working nor is the speedo. Cluster has been off the car for some time now and I'd like to address all possible issues before reinstallation.

Neither one of those gauges rely on the SI board.

2.9V is not low, should be around 80% of capacity, but if you have the cluster out of the car, might as well replace it in my view.

I'm not an expert on all the different clusters....but I know some of the of those old batteries don't show their age by voltage. They will keep a voltage for a long time, and then "poof" it drops off like a rock when they are done for. You can find that ino in their data sheets. Just FYI.
