Anyone know what this plug is for??

I found this plug just dangling behind my passenger side headlight.
All the lights work fine. Anyone know what this is for?

Yeah plug looks the same, but no, both fogs working fine.
I'm thinking...is it maybe for the headlight wipers?..like a pre-wired type of thing? Or were those only on the Euro E30s?

The plug for the windshield wiper fluid pump uses a plug like that, and same for the AC pressure switch I believe.
