Well, my M30 ECU fried the other day. Which answered the sputtering/hesitation problem (i'm almost 100% sure). I had put an ebay chip in it. I'm wondering if that would be the cause of it? extra current through the wire. It is one very specific wire that was fried. it was connected between 3 resistors and a diode. I need to find out which wire it was. My question...
Could it have been the cheap ebay chip that caused it to fry?
Could it have been a faulty ECU that had finally given up?
Could it be faulty wiring on my part (particularly the O2 wires)?
