ok, DO THIS. (fuck I hate that damn caps lock button!).

OK, do this: disconnect all 4 speakers. Grab a speaker from somewhere and connect it to a pair of wires..play stereo loud. If it works, your install is screwed up somewhere. If it doesn't, your deck is screwed up.

Luke's Law #1: Blame the Installer. If everything is perfect, no clicks, pops, hasssles, etc...blame the installer. If it overheats, shuts off, falls apart...(you guessed it)... blame the installer.

You also didn't give any details about your install, like whether or not you rewired, if the car came with "Premium Sound", where you ran the wires, what or how you connected them...basically, you said "its fukked up, can you help"...but I understand. You have a "MySpace" page, so we don't have the highest expectations here. Plus, you are from Chillicothe.

Probably beyond all help. I will try anyway.

Here is my highly educated GUESS: You have a premium Sound car. You attempted to use the stock crossovers, but did not get the wiring correct, so now the deck sees the capacitors as a load and it pisses it off. This is common, I have seen many so-called "pro" installers screw this up too.

Fill me in on some more details of your car and your install, we will get it straight, OK?

    Luke

Lol sorry man, I stooped to mypace cuz all the ladies have it. But any ways. I just have a normal system no premium, and I did not re-wire anything. When it was all hard wired last night it would cut in and out, so I took it over the my friends audio shop. We hooked it up to the harness on one of the displays there, and it worked fine. So we ended up snaging that wiring harness and taking it back to my house. Before we installed the new harness we tested the player again and it worked fine??? Very wierd, so we played with it for a while and no problems. So we didn't end up using that other harness. Everything is working fine ecept for one thing, when I open the drivers door with the CD player on and the car is on or off (doesn't matter), the player will cut out and give me that crap. Very odd, probally some bad wiring somewhere, I guess that what I get for being lazy and no rewiring my car.

Thanks for your input man, lmk what you think, I'm not a total dumbass.

Do you really know where Chillicothe is?

uhhh. I had to go run an errand around the block and it cut out like crap if I had any bump at all really. So I figure this has to be my wiring, what do you think?
